When I first moved to S.C. I met a friend who had a local Christian TV program.  She invited me to sing and I went several times and also did call in phone counseling.  I was trained for it so I readily accepted and had some of my most rewarding experiences singing and sharing there. One of the songs I learned to sing was by a famous family group called, "The McKamey's"  They also wrote, "God on the Mountain" and my husband loved that song so much.  Here are the words to the song and there is a video in the right sidebar.  I hope this touches you as much as it did me.  It is all about having that faith in God that you can do anything when the Lord is with you, he will have "waves roll under your feet...

Matthew 14:22-33

New International Version (NIV)

Jesus Walks on the Water

22 Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowd. 23 After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. Later that night, he was there alone, 24 and the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it.
25 Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. 26 When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear.
27 But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”
28 “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.”
29 “Come,” he said.
Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”
31 Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said,“why did you doubt?”
32 And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. 33 Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.”

UNDER HIS FEET
       by The McKamey's

When Simon Peter, walked oppressed
Putting his faith unto the test,
He said Master, wilt thou bidst me come unto thee.
Jesus said come, so Peter went, and when the faith he had was spent, Peter sank low but Jesus had waves roll under his feet.

Chorus:

Under His Feet, Under His Feet,

There’s not a problem that you'll face He cannot meet.
Whenever you've waded out too far in waters too deep,
Remember when waves are over your head,
He's under your feet.

Often we faint in trials sore, can’t face our problems anymore,
Forgetting wherever we may go, He’s been there before,
We should look up and praise the lord
He walks the waters and the shores
The heavenly breeze and the thundering seas are under His feet.

Under His feet, under His feet

There’s not a problem that you'll face He cannot meet.
Whenever you've waded out too far in waters too deep,
Remember when waves are over your head
He's under your feet.

Under His feet, under His feet

There’s not a problem that you'll face
He cannot meet.
Whenever you've waded out too far in waters too deep,
Remember when waves are over your head He's under your feet.

Thank you so much for coming today and I hope you take a blessing away with you.  Wishing you Love, Faith and Blessings...
