A BLESSED AUTUMN

Many exciting things are happening this fall!  My home church is growing spiritually with enthusiastic members moving in areas of outreach and music ministries as well as deciding on a new permanent pastor.  This Autumn has been especially beautiful and warm for this area of Central NY and I am thankful that I moved soon enough to enjoy the fall colors, sights and sounds.
I cannot resist picking up the beautiful leaves and then drawing them ...

"Reading about nature is fine, but if a person walks in the woods and listens carefully, he can learn more than what is in books, for they speak with the voice of God." George Washington Carver -

What a lovely thought! Do you take time to listen with your heart and mind so that the Lord can enter in?  Do you remember the excitement of first inviting Jesus into your heart and feeling filled with the spirit?  If you have not yet invited Jesus, do it now.  You can have that wonderul feeling of oneness with God, you need only to ask...

2nd stanza of How Great Thou Art:

When through the woods and forest glades I wander
And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees;
When I look down from lofty mountain grandeur
And hear the brook and feel the gentle breeze;
Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to Thee; How great Thou art!
How great Thou art! Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to Thee;
How great Thou art! How great Thou art!

A scene from the State Street road to Port Byron, NY
God is great indeed!

In equally moving words, the psalmist David wrote:
    “The heavens are telling the glory
of God;  and the firmament proclaims
his handiwork.   Day to day pours forth speech,
and night to night declares knowledge.  There is no speech, nor are there words; Their voice is not heard;
yet their voice goes out through all the earth,
And their words to the end of the world.”

Throughout human history, our poets, psalmists and Christians have seen God's reflection in nature. And they have been inspired to share their visions.

If you have prayer requests, please mention in a comment as great healing has been seen in corporate prayer!  Little Rylen is still thriving and a blessing to all who know and love him.  He is coming up on a 2nd birthday!  His parents are excited about their pending opening of a facility for children who need special care like Rylen.  So exciting!

Thank you so much for visiting and do come again.  Please leave a comment or prayer request, it is easyto do.

My Christian heart to yours..

Those are beautiful words in the song and the Psalm. God's beauty is definitely seen in nature, and abundantly so in fall, I think!
